In today’s digital age, technology has been gradually integrated into the education. Especially after the Covid-19 pandemic, we realized how vital technology is to keep us learning. To optimize the traditional teaching method, some schools are beginning to utilize the uniqueness of technology to create more quality and interactive classes for their students. Albeit the advantages, access and affordability to the technology may be challenging to some students even some schools itself.
SNS Network, a company deeply committed to nurturing students’ education, seizes the opportunity to bridge the gap in access to technology for underprivileged schools. With an unwavering dedication, SNS Network has launched a momentous program on the 10th of June 2023, graced by the esteemed presence of the Minister of Education, YB Fadhlina Sidek. This visionary initiative embarks on a mission to empower local primary schools by generously contributing 1000 units of cutting-edge laptops, valued at an impressive RM 1.2 Million.
At its core, this visionary initiative aspires to alleviate the burden of education expenses for primary schools, allowing them to invest more in the pursuit of educational excellence. By providing early exposure to technology, the program aims to ignite a spark of curiosity within students, empowering them to embrace the wonders of the digital realm and enhancing their competitive edge for the promising future that awaits them. With a profound commitment to inclusivity, this program holds the power to benefit a remarkable network of 200 schools, ensuring that a multitude of deserving students can partake in the transformative journey of technological advancement.
To guide students to learn how to use the laptops effectively, we include JOI Chromebook C100 and JOI Classmate 10 as options in this program. Both models are suitable for students aged 7-9 to learn from the ground up but with some different functions, hence the primary schools can choose one of the two models based on their requirements.

Advancing Digital Learning Through Meaningful Support
SNS Network is honoured to support the digital advancement of SMK Convent Ipoh through our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative. As part of this commitment, we have contributed complete desktop setups to enhance and upgrade the school’s computer lab, ensuring that students and educators have access to reliable, up-to-date learning tools.

Distribution Session at Perak
The JOI branded Laptop Distribution Session took place at SMK Raja Perempuan in Ipoh, Perak on the 22nd of June. The event was organized to distribute a total of 200 units of laptops to 20 selected schools in the Perak region. The ceremony was officially inaugurated by YBRS. En. Mohamad Fauzi bin Mahson, who serves as the Perak State Education Director.
The primary objective of the JOI For All programme is to address the digital divide and promote equal access to technology in education. By providing schools with the latest information and communication technology (ICT) resources, the program aims to enhance students’ exposure to technology and improve their technological education.
Through the laptop distribution, the JOI For All initiative intends to empower schools and equip them with the necessary tools to embrace digitalization effectively. By integrating advanced technology into classrooms, students can benefit from enhanced learning opportunities and develop crucial digital literacy skills that are essential for their future success.

On the 23rd of June, the JOI branded Laptop Distribution Session for the Penang State Level was successfully concluded at SK Tan Sri P. Ramlee. The purpose of this event was to distribute 200 units of laptops to 20 selected schools across the state of Penang. The ceremony was graced by the presence of YBhg. Tuan Haji Abdul Rashid bin. Abdul Samad, the State Education Director of Penang, who officially inaugurated the event.
The distribution of 200 laptops to the selected schools in Penang signifies the commitment of the JOI brand and its partners towards supporting education and promoting digital literacy among students. On the 12th of July, the much-anticipated JOI branded laptops distribution session for the Selangor State Level took place at the prestigious SK Taman Sungai Besi Indah. The ceremony was a moment of great honor and pride as it was graced by the esteemed presence of Puan Rozalina Binti Mohd Jamil, the Chief Assistant Director of the Information Management Sector at the Selangor State Education Department. Her presence added an air of importance to the occasion, signifying the significance of this technological endeavor for the state’s educational landscape.
With a resolute commitment to fostering technological advancement and digital literacy, JOI branded laptops were thoughtfully distributed to 20 carefully selected schools throughout Selangor. This strategic initiative, seeks to empower schools and students with the tools and resources necessary to embrace the ever-evolving world of technology and information and communication technology (ICT). By providing these modern devices, the program aspires to equip schools and their students with the means to stay current and adapt to the dynamic digital landscape.

The JOI Laptop Distribution Session at the state level in Kedah was successfully held at SK Malau, Kulim Kedah on the 16th of July 2023. This significant event marked a milestone in advancing education through the integration of technology.
